Northwood Feline Rescue

Foster homes replace shelter cages

Every displaced cat in our Toledo network recovers inside a private domestic living space with personalized care, continuous veterinary backing, and zero municipal caging.

Ways to sustain care

Three paths to community rescue

Clinical Triage Sponsorship

Host a Foster Room

Monthly financial sponsorships directly underwrite spay and neuter procedures, diagnostic blood panels, rabies vaccinations, and dental extractions for intake cases.

Open a quiet spare room to a recovering adult cat or young litter. We furnish all crates, litter boxes, food, and clinical appointments while you provide safety and daily human interaction.

Depot Supply Drop-Offs

Deliver unscented scoopable litter, recovery canned pate, and sanitized transport crates to our Woodville Road facility during weekly intake drop-off hours.

Zero Out-of-Pocket Care

Full veterinary coverage for volunteers

Fostering through our Northwood network requires no personal financial outlay. Our clinic coordinates and covers all mandatory core vaccinations, parasite treatments, diagnostic tests, and emergency interventions through partner veterinary facilities across Lucas and Wood counties.

We distribute complete starter kits including calibrated scales, feeding supplies, premium recovery kibble, and safe transport carriers. Volunteers provide calm space and daily affection while our intake coordinators manage adoptive matching and vetting records.
